This recipe is an ideal creation to operating with yeast. It is going in combination in a snap — no kneading vital — and yields a flavorful, golden brown loaf with an attractive yellow inside. Its relatively chewy texture works properly for sandwiches and toast.

Ingredients

  • half cup finely minced onion OR 1/four cup dried minced onion
  • three to four massive cloves garlic, minced OR 1 tablespoon jarred minced garlic
  • three cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Pizza Dough Flavor (not obligatory, however excellent)
  • 2 half teaspoons quick yeast
  • 1 half teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups shredded or diced cheddar, provolone, or Swiss cheese*
  • 2 massive eggs
  • 1 1/four cups milk
  • *The shredded cheese will disappear into the crumb, whilst the diced cheese will create little wallet of melted cheese. We used part shredded, part diced.

  • 71g finely minced onion OR 21g dried minced onion
  • three to four massive cloves garlic, minced OR 14g jarred minced garlic
  • 361g King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  • 4g Pizza Dough Flavor (not obligatory, however excellent)
  • 2 half teaspoons quick yeast
  • 1 half teaspoons salt
  • 227g cheddar, provolone, or Swiss cheese, shredded or diced*
  • 2 massive eggs
  • 283g milk
  • *The shredded cheese will disappear into the crumb, whilst the diced cheese will create little wallet of melted cheese. We used part shredded, part diced.

Instructions

  1. If the usage of uncooked onion and garlic, sauté them till they are golden brown, then set them apart to chill. You can skip this step if the usage of the dried onions and jarred garlic.
  2. Lightly grease a 2-quart spherical casserole dish or nine” x five” loaf pan.
  3. In a big bowl, whisk in combination the flour, Pizza Dough Flavor, yeast, and salt. Stir within the onions, garlic, and cheese.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk in combination the eggs and milk. Add the liquid to the flour aggregate and beat properly for two to a few mins (the batter will probably be thick).
