  • 1/2 cup lukewarm water
  • 6 tablespoons vegetable oil, safflower most popular

  • four cups (17 oz) King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour

  • 1 tablespoon immediate yeast

Apple filling

  • 2 medium-to-large apples, NOT peeled; cored and diced in ¾” chunks
  • 1/2 teaspoon floor cinnamon
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

Glaze

  • 1 huge egg overwhelmed with 1 tablespoon water
  • coarse white sugar, non-compulsory

  • three/four pound apples (2 medium-to-large apples), NOT peeled; cored and diced in ¾” chunks (about nine ½ oz, ready)
  • 1/2 teaspoon floor cinnamon
  • 1 ¾ oz granulated sugar

Glaze

  • 1 huge egg overwhelmed with 1 tablespoon water
  • coarse white sugar, non-compulsory

Dough

  • 113g lukewarm water
  • 74g vegetable oil, safflower most popular
  • 85g honey
  • 2 huge eggs
  • 482g King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon immediate yeast

Apple filling

  • 340g apples (2 medium-to-large apples), NOT peeled; cored and diced in ¾” chunks (about nine ½ oz, ready)
  • 1/2 teaspoon floor cinnamon
  • 50g granulated sugar

Glaze

  • 1 huge egg overwhelmed with 1 tablespoon water
  • coarse white sugar, non-compulsory

Instructions

  1. To make the dough: Combine the entire dough components and blend and knead them, through hand, mixer, or bread gadget, till you could have a cushy, easy dough.
  2. Allow the dough to upward push, lined, for two hours, or till it is puffy and just about doubled in bulk. If you’ve gotten made the dough in a bread gadget, permit it to upward push within the gadget for an additional hour after the dough cycle is done.
