Ginger Pancakes with Blueberry Maple Syrup

Naturally sweetened with malt, those pancakes comprise good-for-the-digestion ginger and oats, and cholesterol-lowering oat bran. But but even so that — they style nice!

Note: a batch of the pancake combine will make a couple of batches of pancakes; leftover combine may also be saved for later.

  • 2 1/four cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup oat flour (or finely flooring oatmeal)
  • 1/2 cup oat bran
  • 1/2 cup minced crystallized ginger
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk powder
  • 1/four cup non-diastatic malt powder or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon flooring ginger

Pancakes

  • 1/four teaspoon salt
  • 1 massive egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons oil or butter, melted
  • 1 cup pancake combine from above

Blueberry Maple Syrup

  • 1/2 cup contemporary blueberries or one three.Five-ounce can of blueberries
  • three/four cup maple syrup

  • three/eight ounce baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon flooring ginger

  • three oz contemporary blueberries or three 1/2 oz canned blueberries
  • eight 1/four oz maple syrup

Hearty Ginger Pancake Mix

  • 269g King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  • 92g oat flour (or finely flooring oatmeal)
  • 53g oat bran
  • 92g minced crystallized ginger
  • 99g buttermilk powder
  • 43g non-diastatic malt powder or 53g brown sugar
  • 11g baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon flooring ginger

Pancakes

  • 1/four teaspoon salt
  • 1 massive egg
  • 113g milk
  • 25g oil or 28g butter, melted
  • 128g pancake combine from above

Blueberry Maple Syrup

  • 85g contemporary blueberries or 99g canned blueberries
  • 234g maple syrup

Instructions

  1. To make the pancake combine: Whisk in combination all the components.
  2. Store in an hermetic container, at room temperature, for as much as 1 month.
  3. To make the pancakes: In a medium bowl, whisk in combination the salt, egg, milk, and butter or oil.
  4. Blend within the combine.
