Preamble: Even though quiche is a French word and we think it’s a difficult thing to make, it is very easy! This is a fairly common quiche recipe using bacon and an already made savory pie crust. Voilà !

Ingredients for this recipe for 8 people:
1 c. (23cl) milk,
8 slices of bacon,
1/4 c. (40g) Parmesan cheese,
1 c. (45g) Swiss cheese,
1 tbsp. chopped onion,
1/4 tsp. salt,
1/4 tsp. pepper,
1 already made savory pie crust
How To Make Quiche from scratch:
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Using a large frying pan, fry the bacon and then set aside.
Brown the onion in the same pan until it becomes transparent.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs. Then add the milk, salt and pepper.
Remove the pie crust from the packaging. Chop the bacon and sprinkle it in the pie crust with the onion. Then sprinkle the cheese over the bacon and onion.
Pour the egg mixture over the top and bake for approximately 45 minutes until the top is browned.
